Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily production schedules to meet customer demands and company goals.
  • Monitor production processes, ensuring compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement, optimize workflows, and reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability within the production department.
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels of raw materials, equipment, and finished goods to ensure continuous production.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams to resolve production-related issues.
  • Train, develop, and evaluate production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Lead regular production meetings to review performance metrics, address challenges, and plan future operations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and operation of all production equipment, coordinating repairs and upgrades as needed.
  • Prepare reports and present updates on production performance to senior management.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage production supervisors, team leads, and line staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations for production employees.
  • Enforce workplace policies, safety protocols, and disciplinary actions as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is required.
  • Master’s degree or additional certifications in operations management is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the utility or water tank industry.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience managing production teams.
  • Proven track record of improving production processes and achieving operational goals.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement certifications are highly desirable.
